I would also like to mention that while trying to figure out how to fix the missing crystal, I noticed a crysal in my Inventory -> Quest Items menu. The crystal on the outer wall appeared and the chest containing the notes could be opened. Then I loaded a game from before I ever went to KM (luckily for me, it only set me back a couple of hours of gameplay.)Ĭontinued the Ugly Baby quest and when I got to KM went straight to the chest (not visiting any of the map vendors for the quests). I just reinstalled the addon "Scavenger hunt: Wolf School Gear" from the PS4 menu. I searched the web for days and tried several solutions. From there I went straight to the initial wolf gear chest and found a missing crystal and a chest I couldn't interact with.
I was already on the Ugly Baby quest and proceeded until the game took me to KM. I downloaded the DLC "Scavenger hunt: Wolf School Gear" while on patch 1.12 and before I ever went to Kaer Morhen. Somehow I fixed the missing crystal for my PS4 save game and got the contents of the chest.
